Floriane Charles
Born in 1986 in Vendôme (France).
At 6 Floriane was already strumming her first strings. She quickly showed astonishing musicality and technical ease. Eclectic, she explored different styles with a predilection for Latin American melodies. Throughout her many travels, Argentina became her true adopted country. Hence, it is quite natural that she now specialized into its rhythms both from the capital and from the interior (tango, milonga, zamba, chamamé, waltz ...).
She currently is one half of the guitar duo « de Costa a Costa » with Sebastian Segarra but she is also shining as a solist or within various projects revolving around argentinian tango and folklore: « Cuarteto Musas » with Elvita Delgado (cuatro, percussions, vocals), Emma Milan (vocals) and Andrea Gonzalez (violon), a duo guitar/singer with Emma Milan, the guitar orchestra « Las bordonas de Paris » directed by Diego Trosman.
Her repertoire​, full of colors, rhythms and sweetness, is inspired by great figures of argentinian music such as Roberto Grela, Atahualpa Yupanqui or Astor Piazzolla, and by great contemporaneous maestros as Juan Falú, Rudi Flores or Carlos Moscardini.

For more than 15 years she has been invited to numerous festivals around the world (like« Guitarras del mundo » 2007-2011-2015 in Argentina, tours around Ecuador, Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica, United States, Spain and other European countries…).
She multiplies professional experiences; in solo, duo, or cuarteto, while also playing guitar for other artists, singers or comedians in theatrical performances :
